The event parser

To comprehend a scenario, a reasoner must understand the elements which make it up. Stories contain characters while scenarios contain agents. Agents perform actions on objects (which may be other agents), producing various states as these actions take place. Because of this, the first task which must be handled by this supertask is the event parser; this task merely identifies incoming concepts as agents, objects, actions, or states. Since concepts are organized by the   ontology which replicates these divisions, this task is, for the most part, straightforward.
