The ISAAC model is not capable of generating
English responses at this time. In order to
ensure that the evaluators would not be able to
determine which set of response belonged to the
program through simple syntactic issues,
the responses to the questions were hand-translated
into simple English phrases and sentences.
This appendix will demonstrate the question
and answering process which the model went
through on several example questions.
Each of the three stories used in the study
will be presented with selected questions.
