Discussion

This chapter has served to present the overall design of the ISAAC model and to show how it works in specific cases. Although ISAAC is only one possible computational model which could result from my theory of creative reading, this chapter indicates that the implementation is an accurate reflection of my theory. There are certainly aspects which are not completely modeled, but I have identified those; in these cases, the areas which are not complete are not core to my theory. This approach allows those pieces of the model to be implemented at a level which is ``good enough'' to support the rest of the model, specifically the elements which are crucial to my theory.
